An MOU that includes study scholarships was signed between the university and the Kingdom Schools as part of the signatories’ realization of their joint academic interest and in appreciation of their institutional cooperation and their joint vision to make it sustainable.
YU Vice-President, Prof. Houssam Ramadhan, and the Kingdom Schools General Overseer, Dr. Nasser Almilhem signed the MOU in a special reception at the Kingdom Schools on 18 December 2017.
Prof. Ramadhan stated that this MOU is part and parcel of general agreements between both parties where they will join efforts to enhance their educational services.
By virtue of this MOU, the university will allocate a number of exclusive scholarships to graduates of the Kingdom Schools, help prepare the schools’ students to university life through a number of training and educational programs, and collaborate closely with the schools in matters related to the admission of their graduates at Al Yamamah. The MOU also covers the organization of joint activities and events between the two sides at the local and international levels in addition to providing training programs and workshops to the Kingdom Schools teaching staff.
