Al Yamamah University honors student Al-Anoud Al-Assaf for receiving the King Abdulaziz Medal in recognition of her humanitarian initiative.

The Acting President of Al Yamamah University, Dr. Yazeed Al-Suhaibani, honored student AlAnoud bint Hassan Alassaf in recognition of her receipt of the King Abdulaziz Medal (Third Class), awarded for her exceptional humanitarian act of donating part of her liver to save a life.

The ceremony was held in the presence of the Vice President for Academic Affairs, Prof. Hessa AlSalamah, and the Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Mohammed AlSudais, along with faculty members and students. The event highlighted the university’s pride in honoring a student whose action reflects profound values of altruism, generosity, and selflessness.

During the ceremony, the Acting President praised AlAnoud’s remarkable humanitarian initiative, stating that her act goes beyond academic excellence and represents a deeply inspiring model of human compassion and responsibility.
