Al Yamamah University and the National Events Center Sign a Memorandum of Understanding to Strengthen Training, Development, and National Talent Empowerment

Al Yamamah University and the National Events Center (NEC) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at strengthening cooperation in training and development, supporting the qualification of national talents, and exchanging expertise and knowledge. The partnership seeks to align educational outcomes with the needs of the Kingdom’s growing events sector while advancing the shared objectives of both organizations.

The agreement was signed on behalf of Al Yamamah University by Mr. Abdulrahman bin Khalid Alkhudair, Chief Executive Officer of the University, and on behalf of the National Events Center by Mr. Abdulrahman Othman Abu Humaid, Acting Vice President of Business Development.

The MoU reflects the commitment of both parties to establishing a strategic partnership that contributes to the development of national human capital and strengthens collaboration between the academic sector and the events industry. It also supports national development goals and responds to the rapid growth and increasing opportunities within the Kingdom’s events sector.

Under the agreement, Al Yamamah University students will be provided with practical training opportunities at the National Events Center, enabling them to gain hands-on experience and develop the professional skills required in the labor market. The partnership will also focus on designing and implementing specialized initiatives and programs that bridge academic knowledge with professional practice.

In addition, the MoU includes cooperation in knowledge sharing, professional development activities, and joint initiatives that promote innovation, enhance educational outcomes, and prepare highly qualified graduates capable of meeting the evolving needs of the events industry.

Both parties emphasized that the agreement represents an important step toward strengthening collaboration between academic institutions and national organizations, contributing to the preparation of future-ready talents and supporting the continued growth of the Kingdom’s events sector.
