The Career Services Center at AlYamamah University organized a field visit in collaboration with Capital Metro Company, aiming to provide students with firsthand exposure to one of the Kingdom’s most significant public transportation projects and to enhance their understanding of the operational and technological aspects of managing and running the Riyadh Metro network.

The visit included an introductory tour of the metro’s maintenance and storage facilities, where students learned about train operations, routine and preventive maintenance procedures, and the measures implemented to ensure efficiency, reliability, and safety across the network.

Participants were also introduced to the advanced systems and smart technologies used in managing and operating the metro, as well as the services provided to passengers and the role of innovation in enhancing the overall public transportation experience.

This visit reflects the Career Services Center’s commitment to connecting academic learning with practical industry experience, preparing students for future careers, and exposing them to leading national projects that contribute to the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.
