Al Yamamah University Hosts Workshop to Enhance Students’ Financial Awareness and Money Management Skills

The Deanship of Admissions, Registration, and Student Affairs at Al Yamamah University, in collaboration with the Finance Club, organized a workshop titled “Enhancing Students’ Financial Awareness: Skills for Better Financial Living.” The initiative reflects the university’s commitment to equipping students with essential life skills and promoting responsible financial decision-making.

The workshop was presented by Ms. Rasha Alhumaidi, who introduced key concepts related to personal financial planning, budgeting, saving strategies, and practical approaches to building healthy and sustainable financial habits.

Participants engaged actively in discussions and interactive activities designed to strengthen their understanding of financial concepts and translate them into practical skills applicable to everyday life.

As part of the workshop, students took part in the Financial Mystery Cases competition, a hands-on learning experience that challenged teams to analyze financial scenarios and develop effective solutions. The activity helped enhance participants’ analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and teamwork skills.

The event concluded with the recognition of the winning teams, celebrating their outstanding performance in an atmosphere of enthusiasm and positive competition.
