Saif Sami, Ph.D.

Assistant Professor of Management

Dr. Saif Sami is Assistant Professor at the College of Business as well as Assistant to the Dean of the College of Business for Graduate Studies. He is the Chair of the Graduate Committee, a member of the Council of the College of Business, as well as a member of the Department Committee. He is the principal author of the Graduate Program Restructuring Plan. Previously, he has been a member of the Examination Committee and the COOP committee at Al-Yamamah University.

Before joining Al-Yamamah University, Dr. Saif was working as an Assistant Professor of Management at Saudi Electronic University. While serving there, he held key administrative positions, such as a member of the Examination Committee, as well as a member of the Students’ Grievance Committee.

As well, he is a member of the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals, U.S.A. and is a member of Amnesty International. Before moving to Saudi Electronic University, he served as an Assistant Professor of Management at Aligarh Muslim University, India for about 2 years.

Dr. Saif has a Ph.D. in Operations & Supply Chain Management from Aligarh Muslim University, India, 2013. As well, he has an MBA in Marketing and Human Resources from Uttar Pradesh Technical University, India, 2007. He received his B.Tech. (Mechanical) from Aligarh Muslim University, India, 2004. His research interests include logistic and distribution strategies, quality management, supply chain management and lean systems.

His research has been published in peer-reviewed journals, such as the Integral Review‐A Journal of Management, SRM Management Digest, Vikalpa‐Journal of Decision Makers.
