The university signed a Co-op agreement and exchange of experiences with KPMG, one of the fastest growing companies in the field of services at the national and international levels. KPMG is mostly concerned with auditing, and legal review services, Zakat, taxes and consulting. KPMG Saudi Arabia is a member of the global network of KPMG companies, which started operating in Saudi Arabia in 1992. Dr. Waleed Abanmi, Vice-President of the University and Mr. Khalil AlSedais, Managing Partner, KPMG both signed the agreement.
The training program includes a training course for the university’s students in the company as an aim to achieve compatibility between the outputs of the university and the needs of the labor market. This is an opportunity for the student to develop a clear perception of the real work environment and the skills they need to face its challenges. The agreement also grants a scholarship to the company’s employees and their families to the university’s bachelor’s and master’s programs according to their specializations.
Mr. AlSedais thanked the university for planning this remarkable initiative provided for the students to help them in their academic career. AlSedais stressed that KPMG will play its role and responsibility towards the students by training them and attracting distinguished individuals to work with the company.
