The university held a lecture entitled “Volunteering and Its Impact on the Individual’s Future.” delivered by alumna Ms. Batoul Al-Mutab, Strategic Planning Snr. Specialist and Ms. Shams Alsaby, specialist in non-profit organizations.
The lecture was part of the Guest Speakers Program with the participation of the OVT Club. The speakers shared their inspiring experience in volunteering during their academic lives and later in the professional world. Ms. Alsaby stated that her volunteering efforts were the reason behind choosing economy as her field of studies. She later mentioned the social importance of volunteering, which spreads the spirit of giving back to the community. Ms. Alsaby stressed that volunteering left a strong, positive impact on her personality, which she believes will help her improve her future vision and lead her to the most suitable career path.
