The university signed a memorandum of understanding with Princess Noura Bint Abdulrahman University to establish strategic cooperation channels in the fields of education, training, research and consulting.
The MoU will enable the two universities to exchange information, opinions and ideas, and share expertise and knowledge between the two sides through planning joint activities. It also covers exchange of COOP students and faculty members. The process of exchange is highly beneficial in terms of the development in research programs, mutual interests and the establishment of seminars, panel discussions and conferences. Such participation of female students in exhibitions and seminars suits the academic programs and extracurricular activities that contribute in the development of joint study programs.
The MoU aims to combine efforts and complement the distinguished educational and academic services provided by the two universities to the Saudi society, by building the knowledge economy through social and academic partnership.
The MoU aspires to identify the problems and developmental needs that are most common between the two universities and determine the necessary requirements to promote the movement of scientific research and refinement of academic talent in the field of knowledge.
Dr. Hussam Ramadan, President of Al Yamamah University stated: “signing this MoU between the university and PNU is an embodiment of the willingness of YU to build bridges of cooperation with a university of great potential in the field of scientific research, as well as trained and highly qualified cadres.”
Dr. Walid Abanmi, Vice President of Al Yamamah University indicated that a joint working team of the two universities will be set up, including specialists to enhance areas of cooperation as envisaged in the MoU signed between the two sides.
HE Dr. Huda Al-Amel President of Princess Noura University, showed appreciation and full support of the initiatve by pointing out that the fields of cooperation of the two universities in various fields will contribute to the development and improvement of the educational environment mutually. The educational developmental expertise, in addition to holding seminars, conferences and joint events will surely contribute to the development of the performance of both academic institutions.
