A delegation of YU students visited the Heritage Museum of Dhurmaa, west of Riyadh. The delegation was led by Mr. Raja Alotaibi, instructor of the Saudi Heritage course at the university.
Such visit aims to realistically enlighten students about the course in Saudi heritage they are taking. The purpose of the visit was to learn more about the way of life of the former Saudi society in the 1950s, 1960s and 1970s, whose heritage has made it to this day.
The museum contains all the traditional household tools, agricultural tools and a demonstration of the main sources of entertainment of the previous Saudi Arabian generation.
Mr. Abdulaziz Alrudhayan, General Manager of the Heritage Museum of Dhurmaa accompanied them on the visit and gave them a detailed tour of the museum for educational purposes.
