A meeting for the Technology Club at YU with the PNU IT Club was held at the women section to exchange knowledge and share experience drawn from previous initiatives and technology related events.
Miss Nada Ali Girgrah, president of the YU Technology Club, started the meeting by welcoming the PNU students and moved on to give them an overview of the club’s objectives, plans and activities.
Miss. Girgrah stated that the club aims to bring students of all fields of study together by introducing a phenomenal new side of the technology and its science by carrying out a variety of different projects and workshops in an entertaining as well as educational manner.
Then, the club members of YU Technology spoke about their previous accomplishments during their academic years to share the potential opportunities that will benefit future female computer engineers in relation to the 2030 Vision.
As part of the meeting, YU Technology members Ms. Lama AlNunu and Ms. Leena Abu Shmais presented a workshop entitled “Developing a Personal Assistant Software” for the visitors.
Finally, both club members went on a tour around the female engineering and architecture building to present its educational environment.
