YU Participates in KAUST Workshops

As part of the university’s strategy and plan to support training programs on business management, Mr. Ahmed Alshomar, lecturer at College of Engineering and Architecture, participated in a three-day workshop entitled, “Innovation for Tomorrow’s Technology” held at King Abdullah University for Science and Technology (KAUST) by a large number of professional academic trainers.

KAUST organized the workshop to train and qualify instructors, in order to supervise the teams of students who are applying for TAQADAM Program in the up-coming months organized by KAUST Innovation Center.

The first day of the workshop included a detailed introduction to innovation, entrepreneurship, creative thinking and turning innovative ideas into reality. The second day of the workshop answered the questions where do creative ideas come from, and how to think outside the box, while the third day focused mainly on turning innovative ideas into successful reality.
