Dr. Vani Vasudevan Earns IEEE Senior Membership Grade

Dr. Vani Vasudevan, assistant professor at the department of computer engineering, has recently been elevated to IEEE Senior Member Grade.

The reputable IEEE grade of Senior Member is the highest grade and requires experience reflecting professional maturity and long years of professional service and active engagement in IEEE-designated fields. The Senior Member Grade is a profound recognition of the member’s technical and professional excellence, which qualifies the member to hold executive IEEE volunteer positions.

Dr. Vasudevan holds an IEEE membership since 2010. As an IEEE member, she served as Technical Program Committee member for various IEEE sponsored conferences and reviewed papers submitted through EDAS. She, helped students taking part in IEEE Xtreme programming contests. Dr. Vasudevan teaches 3rd and 4th level courses in software engineering under Bachelor of Science in Software Engineering program.
