HRH Prince Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Governor of Riyadh Region, sponsored and opened the 11th graduation ceremony on 20 March 2019 at Sheikh Mohammed bin Ibrahim Alkhudair Hall, Al Yamamah University. The ceremony also marked the start of YU Career Day 2019, which lasted for two days. This year’s graduates hold different degrees in unique and qualitative study fields. The university is proud to celebrate this great achievement with the 276 graduates.
Prof. Hussam Ramadan stated in his speech that “Al Yamamah University has taken a lead role in helping to achieve Vision 2030 since its announcement and formulated its objectives to fit in with this ambitious vision and the needs of the Saudi labor market.” He also mentioned that the university has signed a Co-op agreement with Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in the United States of America to teach our postgraduate students a course in leadership and innovation.
Mr. Khalid bin Mohammed Alkhudair, Chairman of the Board of Trustees said that “education in the Kingdom is constantly developing, in order to achieve its economic and academic interests in the future.”
HRH Prince Mohammed bin Abdulrahman, Deputy Governor of Riyadh Region, praised the role of Saudi universities and the establishment of a young generation capable of leading the development in the Kingdom in various fields. He pointed out that one of the most important goals of Vision 2030 is to build an “ambitious homeland” capable of qualifying national cadres and high-level potentials to succeed in all fields. He also showed great interest in supporting education and celebrating the youth’s inspiring achievements.
