YU Celebrates the 89th Saudi National Day

The university celebrated the 89th Saudi National Day on Tuesday, September 24, 2019 in the presence of Prof. Dr. Hussam Ramadan, President, in the lobby of the main building.

The celebration included an art exhibition to represent the historical stages of growth and development of the Kingdom, in cooperation with King Abdulaziz’s Darah Foundation. It also included portraits of the founding King Abdulaziz and his successors.

Prof. Ramadan stated that, “the Saudi National Day allows us to remember the great sacrifices that were made by the founder of the kingdom, which inspires to unite as a nation and mettle to the top.”

At the end of the celebration, the university served the most popular and delicious traditional Saudi dishes to celebrate our food culture, and present it to our international faculty members, staff and students.
