The Advisory Board for Computer Engineering and MIS Holds its First Meeting

The Advisory Board for Computer Engineering and MIS held its first meeting for the academic year 2019/2020 on Tuesday, October 1, 2019 in the main meeting room of the university.

Prof. Hussam Ramadan, President of the University, started the meeting with a welcoming speech, which was directed to the organizing members of the Advisory Board. Prof. Ramadan introduced the university in general, and the College of Engineering and Architecture in specific, and gave an outlook of its future plans, and international academic programs. After the president’s speech, Dr. Hessah Alsalamah, Dean of College of Engineering and Architecture delivered a brief introductory presentation about the college.

The meeting was attended by members of the board, Dr. Basil Alomair, Director of the National Center for Information Security Technology at King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology, Dr. Nasser Zaid Almishari, Executive Vice President of Business at Elm, and Dr. Khalid  Mansour Albarrak, Vice President, Corporate Analysis and Data, Saudi Telecom Company (STC), Dr. Dima Saleh Alathel, Strategy Leader, IBM, Saudi Arabia, and Eng. Hisham Ali Albahkali, President and CEO, GE, Saudi Arabia and Dr. Abdulaziz Alwathnani, dean of College of Business Administration.
