Prof. Hussam Ramadan, President of The University and Mr. Abdulaziz Ahmed Alhammadi, CEO of TechTrans signed a memorandum of cooperation between the university and Google Cloud Developer Community Saudi (GCDC Saudi).
The MoC aims to accelerate technological transformation, keep up with the community’s technological developments, enhance social responsibility, develop technical capabilities contributing to the enrichment of digital and professional Arabic content, and engage the students in community service to serve the goals of both parties.
The university offered to provide classrooms, training areas and auditoriums with the needed technological equipment for Google Cloud developers.
Prof. Ramadan stressed the importance of establishing such workshops and training sessions, stating that digital transformation is one of the main goals of Vision 2030. He also praised the cloud developer community and showed appreciation of their astonishing achievements in the field of technology.
Dr. Waleed Abanmi, Vice-President of The University, Dr. Hessah Alsalamah, Dean of College of Engineering and Architecture and Mr. Mohammed Alharbi, Director of University Relations and Communication attended the signing ceremaony.
