Al Yamamah University Participates in the Biennial MENAWCA International Conference at New York University – Abu Dhabi

In line with its commitment to academic excellence and keeping pace with global technological advancements, Al Yamamah University participated in the Biennial MENAWCA International Conference, hosted by New York University – Abu Dhabi over the weekend, with the participation of distinguished academics and experts from across the MENA region.

The university was represented by faculty member Mr. Georgios Korombas, and Toastmasters Club members Abdulrahman Al-Hassoun and Jude Hakim, who jointly presented a research paper titled:
“AI Writing: Saudi Voices, Shared Dilemmas.”

The presentation explored common experiences and ethical challenges faced by both students and faculty members in the use of artificial intelligence tools in academic writing, shedding light on the balance between innovation and academic integrity in higher education.

This participation reflects Al Yamamah University’s continuous efforts to strengthen its international academic presence and advance its institutional initiatives to integrate AI technologies into the learning process, in alignment with national education priorities and global visions for the future of learning.
