The University President receives a delegation from the Ministry of Defense

The President of Al Yamamah University Dr. Hossam bin Mohammed Ramadan, received today, Wednesday 10/4/2023, the Senior Advisor for Education and Training to the Assistant Minister of Defense and General Supervisor of Human Resources Management, Dr. Abdullah bin Ibrahim Al-Mujil, accompanied by Brigadier General Badr Abdul Rahman Al-Saif and Captain Abdullah Abdul Rahman Al-Tamimi. The two sides discussed aspects of cooperation to enhance the skills of national human capital through educational and training programs.

In his welcoming speech, Dr. Ramadan pointed out the university’s keenness to provide its academic, educational and research services to the governmental and private sectors and to community as one of the most important goals it seeks within the framework of its vision and mission.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed aspects of cooperation and ways to build and develop the skills of national human resources through training programs. Dr. Hossam Ramadan gave a comprehensive presentation of the university’s colleges, programs and departments, the institutional and academic programs’ accreditations it has from the most important national and international bodies, and the new programs it offers to keep pace with the needs of the labor market to achieve the goals of Vision 2030 in building a vibrant economy and a prosperous society.

The President also referred to the efforts of the Executive Education Center and its methods of designing training programs to suit the requirements and needs of the labor market, by applying the highest quality standards.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the two parties stressed the importance of cooperation between the sectors of the Ministry of Defense and the university with regard to training and education and setting a framework to serve the two sectors in the available fields, by opening the way for master’s and bachelor’s programs to the ministry staff.

Fahd Al-Dahimi, Advisor to the General Administration of Human Resources, Mr. Abdullah Al-Huwaimel, and the Senior Training Operations Officer, Mr. Share the blessed.

The meeting was also attended by the university’s Director General of Financial and Administrative Affairs, Mr. Abdulrahman Khaled Al-Khudair, and Director General of Public Relations and Marketing, Mr. Shihana Khaled Al-Khudair, and Dean of the College of Engineering, Dr. Hessa bint Abdullah Al-Salama, and Dean of the College of Business, Dr. Abdulaziz Al-Wathlani, and Dean of the College of Law, Dr. Abdulaziz Al-Shalahi, and Dean of Admission, Registration and Student Affairs, Dr. Abdullah Al-Shalahi, and Executive Director of the Executive Education Center, Dr. Dhafer Al Jalfan.
