Architecture Students from the College of Engineering Visit the Heritage Authority as Part of the “Heritage Gateway” Initiative

As part of the “Heritage Gateway” initiative by the Heritage Authority, students from the Department of Architecture at the College of Engineering conducted a field visit to the Heritage Authority.
During the visit, experts from the authority presented an introductory workshop aimed at providing a comprehensive overview of the authority, its functions, and the training opportunities available. The workshop covered the diverse activities of the authority, highlighting the vital role it plays in preserving national heritage and enhancing its historical and cultural values.
The workshop emphasized the importance of linking theoretical aspects with practical application in the field of architecture, as training opportunities allow students to gain practical experiences that contribute to developing their skills and preparing them for the future. The initiative also underscored the value of heritage in shaping national identity, encouraging students to appreciate these aspects and apply them in their future architectural projects.
This visit is a significant step in raising awareness about the importance of heritage and integrating academic education with practical experiences, reaffirming the commitment of both the authority and the university to support and develop young talents to contribute to preserving and advancing heritage.o create an attractive investment environment. Additionally, students met with the General Supervisor of the Legal Department, Dr. Ayedh Al-Otaibi, and the Director of the Legal Department, Mr. Dhafer Al-Nasser, discussing various legal aspects related to investment.
