Deanship of Admission, Registration and Student Affairs organizes the closing ceremony of sports activities and student clubs for the year 2023-1444

In the presence of the Vice Rector, Dr. Waleed Abanami, the Deanship of Admission, Registration and Student Affairs organized the closing ceremony for sports activities and student clubs for the year 2022-2023, on Wednesday, June 7 at Sheikh Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al-Khudair Hall, with the aim of celebrating and appreciating the efforts of active students during the academic year.

This year was marked by achieving the highest levels of performance and diversity of activities such as participations, trips inside and outside the university, sports competitions, visits, celebrations, volunteering for community service, and courses and workshops that serve university students.

The ceremony honored the most prominent student contributions and distinguished clubs, including student Hessa Al-Arfaj for her participation in the advertising campaign of Al-Yamamah University, student Nawaf bin Fahd Al-Shuraihi for his contribution to the success of the Student Advisory Council, and student Anwar bint Jassim Al-Anzi for her participation in a research paper at the Al-Yamamah University Forum.

The Volunteering and Community Service Club won the Community Service Award, the Theater and Arts Club won the Promising Club Award, and the Industrial Engineering Club won the Best Student Club Award followed by Take One Club in the second place, and Google Club in the third.

The ceremony concluded with honoring a group of participants who made excellence in sports tournaments such as chess, billiards, and FIFA from the male and female students’ section and the university’s employees.
