Student Meeting on “Corporate Governance Fundamentals”
The Law Club at Al Yamamah University hosted a student meeting titled “Corporate Governance Fundamentals,” featuring Abdullah Al-Ajlan, General Counsel of Siemens Saudi Arabia and co-founder of the Institute of Executive Directors for Consulting and Training. The event drew a large audience of students and individuals interested in law and corporate governance. During the session, Al-Ajlan outlined the legal and administrative principles of corporate governance, emphasizing its role in promoting transparency and enhancing institutional accountability. He also discussed the main challenges companies face in implementing governance practices, offering practical insights from his extensive experience in the legal field and managing large corporations. The meeting concluded with a Q&A session, where students posed questions and shared their concerns. This event is part of a series of activities organized by the Law Club to broaden students’ legal knowledge and develop their skills across various fields.
