The Writing Center organizes an event on Arabic Language Day

On Sunday, December 18, 2023 AD, the Writing Center at Al Yamamah University organized an event in the university library for students on the occasion of International Arabic Language Day, aiming to highlight the importance of the Arabic language in bringing together constructive dialogue between cultures, shaping perceptions, and enhancing understanding in the current global scene characterized by doubts and unrest. The event highlighted the beauty of Arabic and its role in cultural and artistic inspiration and creativity, as it is a major pillar of our cultural identity. It also represented an opportunity to celebrate the great contributions that the Arabic language has made to human civilization, especially through its unique arts, architecture, literature, and calligraphy.
