Architecture Students from Al Yamamah University Win the Prince Abdulaziz bin Ayyaf Award for Humanizing Cities

Architecture students Nada bin Jubair and Ameera Al-Shammari from the College of Engineering at Al Yamamah University achieved a distinguished accomplishment by winning the Prince Abdulaziz bin Ayyaf Award for Humanizing Cities (third edition), under the supervision of Dr. Mayas Ahmed Taha.

The award was granted for an outstanding project submitted as part of the Urban Design course for the academic year 2024–2025, reflecting concepts of human-centered urban development and alignment with the Kingdom’s vision for sustainable cities.

This achievement highlights the quality of academic outcomes at Al Yamamah University and its active presence in national architectural competitions.
