Educational Endowments Forum 2025: A Strategic Launch Toward Sustainable Education and Supporting Vision 2030

Under the generous patronage of the General Authority for Awqaf, Al Yamamah University hosted the launch of the Educational Endowments Forum 2025, held under the theme: “Educational Endowments and Achieving Vision 2030 Objectives in the Education Sector.”
The forum brought together an elite group of leaders, experts, and decision-makers to explore the future of educational endowments and their role in supporting the academic ecosystem in the Kingdom.

The forum opened with the inauguration of Al Yamamah University Endowments, marking a historic milestone in the university’s journey toward enhancing financial sustainability and developing innovative investment models that serve its educational mission. The inauguration was led by Mr. Khalid bin Mohammed Al-Khudair, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, and Mr. Abdulrahman bin Mohammed Al-Aqeal, First Deputy Governor of the General Authority for Awqaf, announcing the beginning of a new phase in which endowments become a strategic pillar supporting academic programs, research, and innovation.

In addition, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between Al Yamamah University and the General Authority for Awqaf, aiming to develop joint educational endowment projects, diversify university funding sources, and enhance the efficiency of endowment investments in alignment with the goals of Vision 2030. Representatives from both sides emphasized that this partnership lays the foundation for building an integrated endowment ecosystem that strengthens the quality of higher education and supports institutional development efforts.
