Marketing Program Mission

Provide quality education to develop energetic marketing leaders and professionals with a passion for quality market research, and the potential to grow an organization and serve its community.

Marketing Program Learning Goals/Attributes

  • Graduates will have a broad theoretical understanding of marketing concepts and tools.
  • Graduates of the marketing program will be able to apply marketing concepts, techniques, and tools to decision-making in real-life scenarios.
  • Graduates of the program will be able to operate effectively in a variety of team roles and take leadership roles, where appropriate.
  • Graduates of the program will be effective communicators of their thoughts and ideas in both written and verbal forms.

Marketing Program Learning Objectives

PLG 1:  Marketing Knowledge:

  • PLO 1: Graduates will be able to understand the key marketing concepts, principles, tools, and theories related to the marketing field and the modern practices of marketing (Knowledge).
  • PLO 2: Graduates will be able to describe marketing strategy, operation, and process in different marketing activities (Knowledge).

 

PLG 2: Application of Marketing Knowledge:

  • PLO 3: Graduates will be able to apply marketing concepts, principles, and theories to solving related marketing problems (Skills).
  • PLO 4: Graduates will be able to develop sound marketing strategies using key marketing concepts, such as segmentation, targeting, positioning, and differentiation (Skills).

Dr. Nawaf Al-Selimi– Chair of the Advisory Committee

Dr. Nawaf Al Selimi currently serves as Department Chair and Assistant Professor at Al Yamamah University, where he oversees the Management and Marketing programs and teaches MBA and EMBA courses. He also contributes to research in management and entrepreneurship and supports student ventures through the university’s Entrepreneurship Center. Earlier in his academic career, he served as an Instructor at Mississippi State University.

In addition to his academic role, Dr. Al Selimi serves as a Consultant at Dulani Center, advising entrepreneurs and SMEs on feasibility studies, business model development, and go-to-market strategies. Earlier in his career, he served as Director of Home Health Care Services at Maharah Human Resources, where he established and managed the Home Health Care department. In addition, he founded Trend Solutions, providing marketing and technology solutions to healthcare organizations. He also previously served as Business Development Manager at Heights.

Dr. Al Selimi holds a Ph.D. in Management from Mississippi State University.

Dr. Abdulhadi Miqdad– Member

Dr. Abdulhadi Mohammed Miqdad is a seasoned executive, consultant, and board chairman with over 30 years of experience in performance improvement, talent and leadership development, executive coaching, strategic planning, Blue Ocean Strategy, customer experience strategy, and organizational excellence. He currently serves as Chairman of Mega Consulting and has advised numerous government entities and private-sector organizations on change strategies, customer experience, and human capital development. Dr. Abdulhadi is a board member of several listed companies and has played a key role in preparing organizations for public offerings.

He holds a PhD in Marketing from Kingston University (UK), an MBA from the University of Bristol, and a bachelor’s degree in marketing from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals. He is an advisory team member of Harvard-related publications and holds professional accreditations from the American Society for Training and Development and the International Coaching Federation. Passionate about research and development, he has designed proprietary models for organizational performance improvement, leadership competency maturity, and customer experience tailored to regional culture, and has delivered specialized leadership and strategy programs across Saudi Arabia and internationally.

Ms. Norah Al-Zamel– Member

Norah Jamal Alzamil is a results-driven Saudi executive and Vice President of Sales and Marketing with over 10 years of experience in sales leadership, marketing strategy, new business development, and digital transformation. A Misk 2030 Leader, she is recognized for translating corporate vision into executable strategies that drive growth across B2B and B2C markets. She oversees nationwide sales operations across 42 branches, leading multi-channel teams and delivering strong commercial performance. Norah has played a pivotal role in launching new revenue streams, generating over 30% of total revenues, and spearheading major digital initiatives including e-commerce platforms, CRM, ERP, and end-to-end logistics digitization. Her leadership has transformed cost centers into profit centers while achieving significant operational savings. She serves as a Board Member of the Marketing Association and an Executive Committee Member at Al Zamil Industry. With a strong background in information systems, strategy, and analytics, she brings an entrepreneurial mindset and data-driven approach to decision-making. Norah is also the Founder and Secretary General of the Pioneer Marketing Award, the first of its kind in Saudi Arabia. She holds an MBA, PMP, BSP certifications, and executive education from Harvard Business School, with a proven ability to lead national and international initiatives.

Mr. Zyad Warqaji– Member

Founder and Chairman of Brandship Consultancy, and a member of Misk Leaders 2030 and the Saudi Leaders Society (SLS), with a strong interest in the creative economy and entrepreneurship. He brings over 25 years of experience in brand development and serves as Chairman and Founding Member of the Saudi Graphic Design Association under the Ministry of Culture. He is also a member of the Advisory Board of the College of Advertising at UBT and the Advisory Board of the College of Advertising at King Abdulaziz University.

In addition, he is a member of the Entrepreneurs’ Organization (EO), Jeddah Chapter, and Al Manar Business Group. He has completed the Leadership Program at ESADE University in Spain and holds a certification in Strategic Management from Harvard University. He earned a Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor’s degree in Arts and Design. He is the author of the #ESAM books, which are taught at King Abdulaziz University, and is a speaker at local and international conferences.

Dr. Issam Al-Dumini– Member

Founder and marketing consultant Esam Al-Damini, based in Riyadh, holds a Ph.D. in City Marketing and is committed to advancing the fields of marketing and business development by leveraging both academic and practical expertise.

He specializes in building strategies, developing marketing plans, qualifying marketing departments, brand development, customer data analysis and targeting, social media and influencer marketing, training, and strategic and operational planning. His experience includes establishing startups, developing corporate communication departments, preparing strategic and follow-up reports, building and enhancing brand identity and corporate image, designing institutional initiatives, managing events and forums, serving as an official spokesperson, and leading executive management and strategic planning.

He is an active member of several professional and community organizations, has delivered consultancy sessions and workshops for government and semi-government entities, participated in academic and media engagements, and spoken at local and international events. He has trained thousands of participants, delivered hundreds of workshops and marketing consultations, and contributed to numerous entrepreneurial projects. He is the author of “Beyond the Footsteps of the Ancients” (2022) and “Marketing Psychologies” (2023), and was recognized as one of the 100 Most Influential Personalities in the Entrepreneurship Community in 2022.

Mr. Sulaiman Alharbi– Member

Sulaiman Alharbi is an accomplished Oil & Gas Sales Manager with over 16 years of experience across the Oil & Gas and energy sectors, specializing in business development, executive sales leadership, and safety-driven solutions. He has a proven track record of driving revenue growth, expanding market share, and building long-term strategic partnerships with key clients, including Saudi Aramco. Currently with Draeger Arabia, he leads go-to-market strategies and delivers advanced safety technologies that enhance operational efficiency and HSE performance in complex industrial environments.

Sulaiman is highly skilled in managing major accounts, contract negotiations, tendering, and high-value projects across Saudi Arabia. His background combines strong commercial acumen with deep technical and operational expertise gained through leadership roles in sales, operations, and engineering. He excels in leading cross-functional teams and optimizing processes to achieve measurable business outcomes. With a strong commitment to safety, risk management, and continuous improvement, he consistently delivers results in high-pressure environments. Sulaiman holds a bachelor’s degree in petroleum and Natural Gas Engineering and a master’s degree in project management and is an active member of SPE and the Saudi Council of Engineers.

Mr. Anas Al-Safi –Member

Anas Al-Safi is an accomplished business leader with over 19 years of experience in marketing, business development, and strategic consulting across both public and private sectors.

He began his career at AlSafi Danone, where he led the expansion into Gulf markets and established the exports marketing department — doubling business performance within two years. He then joined Unilever, taking on various marketing roles and ultimately serving as Marketing Manager for Lipton. Throughout his corporate journey, Anas consistently achieved sales targets, earning several local, regional, and global business awards.

In 2014, Anas co-founded Pure Group, a diversified group that includes Pure Consulting, Pure Academy, Pure Sports, Le Pure, and multiple tech ventures across different industries. He has led numerous high-impact strategy and transformation projects, with a strong focus on marketing, partnerships, and growth enablement.

Ms. Rahaf Alkaharashi–Member

Rahaf Ibrahim Al-Kharashi is a marketing professional with over nine years of experience spanning volunteer work, professional training, and executive roles, enabling her to build a progressive and well-integrated career path from an early stage following high school.

‏She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing from Al Yamamah University (2017–2022), where she served as President of the Marketing Club. During her academic journey, she led multiple student initiatives, contributed to organizing academic and professional events, and worked with various organizations alongside her studies.

‏She currently serves as a Marketing Specialist and Project Manager at Three Sixty Degree Marketing, and is a Board Member of the Saudi Marketing Association, contributing to the advancement of professional marketing practices within the Saudi market.

‏Rahaf specializes in strategic planning and customer experience design, with experience in risk management and leading cross-functional teams. She has led marketing campaigns, events, and social media strategies with a focus on measurable impact and sustainable growth. Her professional trajectory reflects a balanced integration of commercial insight and creative thinking, with a continued emphasis on institutional value creation.
