EMIST Program
EMIST Overview
EMIST Program(English as a Medium of Instruction for Saudi Teachers )has received 6,000 applicants since its inception in August 2021 and has helped many Saudi teachers to teach different school subjects in English.
Furthermore, EMIST Program has enabled Saudi trainees to perform with distinction. Some of the Program achievements include employment of the trainees in the most reputable schools in KSA, implementation of 21st-century skills, such as collaboration and communication, critical and innovative thinking skills, leadership, and decision-making skills, in Saudi schools. These skills not only provide a framework for successful learning in the classroom but also ensure that students can thrive in a world where change is constant and learning never stops.
The program is for Saudi female teachers
Applicants must be university graduates
Not previously part of an HRDF employment related training program
Must be registered in The National Labor Portal “TAQAT”
Be able to register as a full time student
Not registered in GOSI (employee)
You have not previously registered for any MHARAT programs of the HRDF
EMIST Component
The program is composed of two parts: a language part that includes communication and reading skills; and a pedagogical part that includes Lesson Planning and Classroom Management, Teaching methodology, Evaluation and Assessment, and Teaching 21st Century Skills.
EMIST Objectives
Equipping Saudi female teachers with English and pedagogic skills.
Giving Saudi females the opportunity to shape the future of the Kingdom’s international schools.
Providing opportunities for Saudi female teachers to become effective and productive members of their community and school.
Ensuring that teachers have the most current knowledge about pedagogy, curriculum, instruction, learning, assessment, and other aspects of education.

The program will start on October 30, 2022.
You can apply starting from September 26th , 2022 ,submissions will be close on October 25 th..
Eligible applicants will be invited to complete a language placement test as part of the registration process.
