Dr. Zaid Saidat

Assistant Professor of Finance

Biography:

Dr. Zaid Saidat is an Assistant Professor of Finance at the Finance & Accounting Department of Al-Yamamah University / Saudi Arabia. He serves as a member of a college-level committee within the College of Business (COB) at Al Yamamah University, the Appeal Review Committee. Prior to joining Al Yamamah University, Dr. Saidat worked as an Assistant Professor of Finance at Middle East University, and as an Assistant Professor of Financial Technology at Applied Science Private University/Jordan.

In 2019, he completed his Ph.D. in Finance with a minor of Corporate Governance, Financial Performance and Family Businesses from Queen Margaret University (QMU) / United Kingdom. He holds a MS.c. in Financial Management from Edinburgh Napier University/ United Kingdom and a BS.c. in Financial Economics from the Hashemite University/ Jordan.

Dr. Saidat dedication to scientific research is evident through his publications in indexed journals such as Journal of Family Business Management, Resources Policy, International Journal of Accounting & Information Management, Investment Management and Financial Innovations, and Economics & Sociology, etc. and his participation in several conferences such as the 3rd Conference on SMEs Financing and Governance, University Paris Nanterre, France. International Conference on Business Analytics for Technology and Security (ICBATS), Advances in Science, Technology and Innovation conference (Springer), ASU, Jordan, etc. His research interest: Financial Markets, Corporate Finance, Financial Management, SMEs, Family businesses, corporate governance, Blockchain and Financial Technology.​
