Dr. Zainab AlSayed
Assistant Professor of Management
Biography:
Dr. Zainab Alsayed is an Assistant Professor at Alyamama University, driven by a deep passion for teaching and research, her career began in education, where her early experience as a teacher laid the foundation for her lifelong commitment to learning and academic excellence. It was during her time at Alyamama University that her fascination with organizational behavior and decision-making was truly ignited, guiding her toward a distinguished academic path.
Before pursuing her PhD, Dr. Alsayed gained valuable experience in the corporate world, including a role with the Ministry of Health's Vision Realization Office. These professional insights, combined with her academic ambition, led her to the University of Surrey, where she earned her PhD, specializing in organizational behavior. Her research, focused on decision-making and organizational justice, is well underway, with a strong body of work contributing to these evolving fields.
Dr. Alsayed has coauthored two conference papers for the Academy of Management, one of which received the prestigious Best Paper Award.
Outside of her academic endeavors, Dr. Alsayed is a dedicated mother to two daughters, Laura and Reema, who remain her constant source of inspiration and joy.
