“Ink and Pencil” Workshop Celebrates Arabic Calligraphy at Al Yamamah University

The Deanship of Admissions, Registration, and Student Affairs, in collaboration with the TakeOne Club, launched a workshop titled *”Ink and Pencil”* at Al Yamamah University. The workshop, led by Mona Al-Jeblawi, an accomplished artist and first-place winner in the Riyadh Cultural Skills Competition, aimed to foster appreciation for the Arabic language and showcase the elegance of Arabic calligraphy. The workshop drew strong interest from students passionate about calligraphy. Ms. Al-Jeblawi began by sharing the historical significance of Arabic calligraphy in Arab heritage, followed by a hands-on session where students learned practical scriptwriting techniques and methods. The event highlighted the artistic richness of Arabic calligraphy while encouraging cultural pride and creative expression among participants.
