Al Yamamah University Celebrates Founding Day

Under the patronage of the University President, Prof. Dr. Hussam Ramadan, along with the deans of colleges and department heads, Al Yamamah University – Riyadh celebrated Founding Day with great participation from students, faculty members, and staff on Monday, February 25, 2025, at the Tuwaiq Building on the university campus in Riyadh.

The celebration featured a variety of activities, including the traditional Saudi Ardah dance, authentic local cuisine and coffee, poetry recitals, folk songs, and traditional attire. Additionally, the event showcased vintage cars, horses, and camels.

Students enthusiastically embraced the occasion by wearing traditional heritage outfits, seizing the opportunity to celebrate and highlight the rich and diverse culture of Saudi Arabia across its various regions and traditions.

Founding Day holds great significance in Saudi history as a reminder of the nation’s deep-rooted legacy, which the Saudi people take immense pride in. The celebration served as a testament to the unity and spirit of the Al Yamamah University community.
