Honoring a Legacy: Alumni from the First Cohort Welcome Dr. Ahmed Aleisa

As part of Al Yamamah University’s 20th anniversary celebrations, a special gathering was held to honor Dr. Ahmed Aleisa, the founding president of the university and former Minister of Education. Alumni from the very first cohort (Class of 2009) returned to campus to welcome Dr. Aleisa and celebrate the initiation of the Dr. Ahmed Aleisa Hall, named in recognition of his visionary leadership and pivotal role in establishing and shaping Al Yamamah University.

During the visit, alumni shared their memories of those formative years under Dr. Aleisa’s guidance and reflected on how his unwavering commitment to educational excellence laid the foundation for their own personal and professional growth. The event was a heartfelt reunion that underscored the deep bonds that connect YU graduates and the profound impact of Dr. Aleisa’s legacy on the university community.

The newly inaugurated Dr. Ahmed Aleisa Hall stands as a lasting tribute to his vision, a space that will continue to inspire future generations of students and embody the spirit of innovation and learning that Dr. Aleisa championed.
