Dr. Fawwaz Alalami

Dr. Fawwaz Alalami Dr. Fawwaz Alalami is the Board Chairman of the International Trade Advisory Office and serves as a consultant to various public and private institutions. He is also an adjunct professor of International Commercial Law at the Faculty of Law, University of London. Dr. Fawwaz holds board memberships in several organizations, including Prince Migren Bin Abdulaziz University, the Northern Trust American Company in Saudi Arabia, and the Saudi Alzheimer's Disease Association. He previously served as the Deputy Minister at the Ministry of Commerce and Industry and held academic leadership positions at King Abdulaziz University, including Chair of the Physics Department and Dean of both the College of Engineering and the College of Meteorology and Environment. Additionally, he was a member of the Tawaz Economic Council and led the Kingdom’s negotiating team for accession to the World Trade Organization (WTO). Dr. Fawwaz also represents Saudi Arabia in the International Chamber as a Business Leader. He earned his bachelor’s, master’s, and Ph.D. degrees in the Physics of Energy from the UK between 1966 and 1976 and completed a certificate in Economics and Finance from Stanford University in 1984.
