Architecture Students Conduct a Field Visit to the Makana Tower Project

The Department of Architecture at Al Yamamah University organized a field visit for students enrolled in the Building Construction course to the Makana Tower project, developed by Al Majdiah Company, as part of the university’s efforts to strengthen applied learning and connect academic concepts with real-world professional practice.

The visit aimed to familiarize students with modern construction methods, various project execution stages, and on-site operational processes within large-scale construction projects. Students also learned about occupational safety procedures, quality standards, and project management practices.

The engineering team at Al Majdiah provided a comprehensive on-site briefing, supported by practical examples and real case experiences, enriching students’ understanding of real-world applications and bridging theory with industry practice.
