Al Yamamah University Organizes World Accounting Day Event

Al Yamamah University organized a World Accounting Day event with the participation of Accounting Club students, as part of the University’s commitment to supporting purposeful student activities and raising awareness of the importance of professional specializations and their role in institutional development.

The event aimed to highlight the accounting profession and its significance in supporting corporate governance, reinforcing the principles of transparency and accountability, and showcasing the role of accountants in enhancing financial performance efficiency and supporting strategic decision-making within organizations.

The event featured a number of informational booths and interactive activities presented by club students, through which they introduced key accounting concepts, available career pathways, and related employment opportunities. The activities also emphasized the pivotal role of accounting in achieving financial sustainability and compliance with professional regulations and standards.
