Al Yamamah University Organizes a Technical Student Competition in Collaboration with Google Developer Club

The Deanship of Admission, Registration, and Student Affairs at Al Yamamah University organized a student technical competition in collaboration with members of the Google Developer Club, with the participation of six student teams who presented innovative technical projects before a specialized judging panel.
The competition aimed to empower students to apply their academic knowledge through practical projects, enhance teamwork and problem-solving skills, and encourage innovation in digital and technological solutions aligned with real-world needs.
The competition results saw the Lost and Found team win first place for developing an innovative digital platform that facilitates reporting lost and found items within the university campus.
The 3D Map Website team secured second place for designing a three-dimensional interactive map of university buildings and facilities, enhancing navigation and user experience.
Meanwhile, the Reminder App team achieved third place for developing a reminder application and GPA calculator using Flutter, combining simplicity with practical student needs.
This competition reflects Al Yamamah University’s commitment to supporting student innovation, strengthening technical skills, and linking academic learning with practical application.
