Dr. Khaled Al Adeem
Dr. Khaled is an associate professor of Accounting at the College of Business Administration, KSU. He attended King Saud University from 1995 to 1998 and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in Accounting with honor and at the top of his class. He attended Case Western Reserve University from 2002 to 2004, earning MAcc with an excellent GPA, and received awards from the Director of the Master of Accountancy and the Saudi Ambassador in Washington for academic excellence. Between 2004 and 2009, he earned his Ph.D. from the Case Western Reserve University with a published dissertation.
He was the Director of the Doctoral Studies in Business Administrations in Accounting/ Finance/Management/ Marketing; the Director of the Research Center at College of the Business Administration; the Head of the Quality Unit at College of Business Administrations. He teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in Arabic and English in the masters and Ph.D. programs. He supervised over 50 research papers in variety of accounting topics in the master programs. Some of them were published in peer-reviewed journals.
His research appeared in variety peer-reviewed accounting journals, some of which were hosted by universities and academic socialites. He also authored two books, titled, accounting Information System and Deepening the Understanding in the Conceptual Framework for Financial Accounting. Professionally, he assisted the Gulf Cooperative Council Accounting and Auditing Organization (GCCAAO) in developing a training program in International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) for accountants and the Saudi Organization for Certified Public Accountants (SOCPA) in its project to converge with the International Financial Reporting Standards. He is currently working on research assignments with SOCAP for the Auditing Quality Program.
