Ms. Abrar Alagha

Biography

Ms. Abrar Alagha is a Lecturer at the Humanities Department and a Student Counselor at Al Yamamah University. She currently teaches Principles of Psychology (PSY 101), Critical Thinking (PHL 101), and Introduction to Social Sciences (SOS 102) at the humanities department. She is currently a Doctorate candidate (Ph.D. of Psychology) at Al-Imam Muhammad Ibn Saud Islamic University.

Ms. Abrar Alagha has a Master of Science in Clinical Psychology from Barry University, the U.S., and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology from King Saud University. She is a licensed clinical psychologist and has worked as a practicing clinical psychologist for a few years now.

MS. Abrar has worked with different demographics as a psychologist during her internships, volunteering, and work engagements. Through her certification as a clinical psychologist by the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS), she has been legally working as a clinical psychologist and counselor.

Furthermore, she has published a paper on Subjective Well-Being and Acculturation: An Exploratory Study, which was done for her master’s thesis. Her research interests are primarily on Subjective wellbeing and particularly anything in psychometrics.
