To actively support alumni, students, and the community by providing opportunities for professional growth, mentorship, and collaboration, while fostering leadership and excellence in alignment with Al Yamamah University’s values.
Objectives
The Association aims to achieve the following objectives:
- Foster mutual professional support among alumni to achieve further growth and success.
- Support the University’s mission and objectives through the Association’s activities, programs, and projects.
- Organize annual events to highlight and celebrate alumni achievements, support current University students in starting their careers, and serve society at large.
- Enable alumni to share their experiences and best practices with the University to help meet labor market needs and achieve the goals and objectives of Vision 2030.

After high school, I enrolled in a financial management diploma program and later pursued a bachelor’s degree in the same field at Al Yamamah University, graduating in 2014. But what really set the course for my career wasn’t just my studies—it was my time as the President of the Fun Club at YU.

In January 2023, I began my professional journey with Golf Saudi as a Co-op Trainee in the Project Management Department. This six-month experience provided invaluable exposure to the organization's mission and operations. Shortly thereafter, I transitioned into a full time role within the Project Management Office.

Honoring a Legacy
As part of Al Yamamah University’s 20th anniversary celebrations, a special gathering was held to honor Dr. Ahmed Aleisa, the founding president of the university and former Minister of Education. Alumni from the very first cohort (Class of 2009) returned to campus to welcome Dr. Aleisa and celebrate the initiation of the Dr. Ahmed Aleisa Hall, named in recognition of his visionary leadership and pivotal role in establishing and shaping Al Yamamah University.

As I stood among the alumni of the Class of 2009—our very first graduating cohort—during the celebration of Al Yamamah University’s 20th anniversary, I was overcome with a deep sense of pride and gratitude. These were students I had taught, mentored, and worked alongside in campus activities, now returning as accomplished professionals and leaders across key sectors in the Kingdom.
