Anti-Drugs Campaign, in Cooperation with the General Directorate of Narcotics Control

As part of the “Nabih” initiative, and in cooperation with the General Directorate of Narcotics Control, the initiative “Be Aware and Say No” was launched in Tuwaiq building at Al Yamamah University-Riyadh, for the purpose of enhancing the community’s immunity against drugs, and raising awareness of the importance of life skills in prevention of the dangers of addiction. Representatives of the General Directorate of Narcotics Control were present at the event to address students and university employees and to answer their questions. They focused light on awareness as it contributes to strengthening society’s immunity against drugs. In this context, Ms. Hana Abdullah Al-Fraih, Assistant Advisor for Prevention Affairs at the General Directorate of Narcotics Control, noted the importance of critical thinking to reduce drug use and misuse of harmful drugs, and stressed the importance of developing life skills in prevention.
