Celebrating Global Entrepreneurship Week, 2020, YU Holds an Online Presentation on Discovering Entrepreneurial Ideas
As part of the university’s celebration of the Global Entrepreneurship Week, 2020, the university hosted Financial and Entrepreneurship Consultant, Mr. Bandar Aldajani who gave a special presentation entitled “Discovering Entrepreneurial Ideas”.
In his presentation, the guest speaker highlighted the difference between the idea and the opportunity saying that a business opportunity consists of a number of favorable conditions that create a certain need for a product or service in the market, whereas the idea is only a mental image or visualization. He also detailed the best practices and methodological concepts to identify real opportunity when the market shows a gap that can be filled with a new product or service, and when different and emerging trends are carefully observed to identify needs (which more complex than what people think).
