COBA students shine in the Bloomberg-MiSK Challenge
COBA student team participating in the Bloomberg-MiSK 2020/2021 Economic Research Challenge for university students succeeded in winning first place in the competition that gathered students from various Saudi universities.
The team consisted of Tala Saud Alajmi, Bader Yasir Bin-Mazyad, Shumukh Omar Alshuaibi, Sara Ramzi Alshamasi, and Yara Ghassan Abu-Daqqa, supervised by faculty members Dr. Ruba Hamed and Dr. Sanaa Ahmed.
The Bloomberg-MiSK 2020/2021 Economic Research Challenge for university students is a very important and valuable student enablement initiative that aims to empower students with the necessary financial analysis tool using the Bloomberg Terminal, which is the main tool used by professional analysts, portfolio managers and investors at leading global financial institutions. It is also considered a unique opportunity to prepare students for their careers with high levels of efficiency and knowhow and be able to conduct high level research applying the highest standards.
On this occasion, YU President, Prof. Hussam Ramadan, honored the winning team and their supervisors and congratulated them on this achievement, wishing them continuous success in their academic and professional lives.
