Dr. Madiha Rafaqat

Lecturer of Industrial Engineering

Biography

Dr. Madiha Rafaqat has gained her PhD and MSc in “Manufacturing Engineering” and BSc in “Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering” from the University of Engineering and Technology (UET), Lahore – Pakistan. Since 2022, she has been working as a Lecturer in Al Yamamah University (YU), Riyadh – Saudi Arabia. In addition to teaching and supervising senior design projects at YU, she has gained hands-on experience in ABET accreditation, designing assessment rubrics, and working in different committees. Prior to joining YU, she worked as a lecturer for 5 years in Princess Noura Bin Abdulrahman University (PNU), Riyadh – Saudi Arabia. Based on her teaching practices, she was awarded “Best Teacher Award” by the College of Science at PNU in 2016. Dr. Madiha has published more than 20 research papers in international journals and conferences in several areas of industrial engineering. Her main research interests are: Conventional & Non-conventional Machining, Quality Control, Work Design & Motion Study, and Design for Manufacturing & Assembly.
