Dr. Mohamud Ambashe

Biography:
Dr Mohamud Saeed Ambashe joined Al Yamamah University the summer semester of 2025. Before devoting full time position at Al Yamamah University, Dr. Mohamud served in several academic positions at various international universities. Dr Mohamud, is an experienced educator who readily bridges technical and educational domains through mentorship and development of multicultural students. His international educational qualifications along with industry and teaching experience enables to create a learning atmosphere that reaches every student’s learning style and ability, thus empowering students to succeed.
Dr. Mohamud Ambashe holds PhD from University of Bolton in United Kingdom. He specialized in Accounting, Finance and in Islamic Banking and Finance in addition to a wide spectrum of other business administration modules. His Research interest includes International Financial Reporting Standards and standards (IFRS) and Case Study Research on Accounting and Auditing of Islamic Financial Institutions (AAOIFI).
