Biography

Samer Samarah is a professor of Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence. He obtained his PhD in Computer Science from University of Ottawa, Canada in 2008.  Prof. Samarah research interests focus on Data Analysis Techniques for Smart Environments, Internet of Things and Big Data Analysis. Prof. Samarah has many publications in his area, specifically in the area of activity recognition in smart homes. In addition, Prof. Samarah held many Administrative and Academic positions.

Prof. Samarah has participated and presented in many specialized conferences. He is also a member of many prestigious boards, associations, councils, and committees in his discipline and in higher education in the region, and internationally.
