Dr. Takwa Tlili
Associate Professor of MIS

Biography:
Dr. Takwa Tlili is an Associate Professor of Management Information Systems at the College of Business, Al Yamamah University. She earned her PhD in Management Information Systems from the University of Tunis, Tunisia, in collaboration with the University of Málaga, Spain. With over a decade of academic and research experience, Dr. Tlili has taught and supervised at the bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral levels. She previously served as Head of the Master's Program in Decisional and Intelligent Computing Applied to Management at the Higher Institute of Multimedia Arts of Manouba, University of Manouba, Tunisia, where she led curriculum development, student research, and program enhancement initiatives.
Her research focuses on combinatorial optimization, decision support systems, artificial intelligence, metaheuristics, and computational logistics, with real-world applications in intelligent transportation systems, healthcare supply chains, cloud computing, and smart cities. She has developed strong international research collaborations with universities in France and Spain, contributing to joint publications and projects. Dr. Tlili has published extensively in high-impact international journals and conferences and has participated in several international research initiatives across the Middle East and North Africa.
She is also actively engaged in mentoring master’s and doctoral students, supervising final-year projects, and serving on academic and accreditation committees. In addition, she is a member of the Laboratory of Operations Research, Decision, and Process Control (LARODEC), where she contributes to advancing research in optimization and decision sciences.
