Universities can also promote gender-sensitive curricula and research that address issues related to gender equality and women’s empowerment. By establishing safe spaces, universities can create a more inclusive and respectful campus culture. Furthermore, by organizing events, workshops, and awareness campaigns, universities can raise consciousness about gender equality and advocate for women’s rights both on and off campus in education. These actions contribute to creating a more equitable and empowered future for all women and girls, aligning with the global mission of the Sustainable Development Goals.
