Sustainable Development Goals

Universities can actively contribute to SDG 14, “Life Below Water,” through a range of actions. They can also collaborate with marine conservation organizations, governments, and local communities to promote sustainable fishing practices and marine resource management. Through research, educational programs, and partnerships, universities can play a pivotal role in the effort to conserve and sustainably use the oceans, seas, and marine resources for the benefit of current and future generations and the planet as a whole.
