Provide quality education to future management leaders and professionals, conduct impactful research, and create a positive impact for the business community and society.

Management Program Learning Goals/Attributes

Dr. Nawaf Al-Selimi– Chair of the Advisory Committee

Dr. Nawaf Al Selimi currently serves as Department Chair and Assistant Professor at Al Yamamah University, where he oversees the Management and Marketing programs and teaches MBA and EMBA courses. He also contributes to research in management and entrepreneurship and supports student ventures through the university’s Entrepreneurship Center. Earlier in his academic career, he served as an Instructor at Mississippi State University.

In addition to his academic role, Dr. Al Selimi serves as a Consultant at Dulani Center, advising entrepreneurs and SMEs on feasibility studies, business model development, and go-to-market strategies. Earlier in his career, he served as Director of Home Health Care Services at Maharah Human Resources, where he established and managed the Home Health Care department. In addition, he founded Trend Solutions, providing marketing and technology solutions to healthcare organizations. He also previously served as Business Development Manager at Heights.

Dr. Al Selimi holds a Ph.D. in Management from Mississippi State University.

Mr. Abdullah Al-Bassam – Member

Mr. Abdullah currently serves as Vice Governor for Legal and Regulations at the Saudi Electricity Regulatory Authority, a position he has held since May 2025. He also serves as Board Secretary at the Authority and previously held the role of Vice Governor for Legal and Licensing Affairs from September 2023 to May 2025. In addition to his executive responsibilities, he serves as Deputy Chairman of the Sharia Committee at the Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority and previously chaired the Sharia and Legal Committee of the Nafaqah Fund.

Earlier in his career, he held several leadership roles at the Ministry of Justice, including Deputy Minister for Enforcement and Assistant Deputy Minister for Enforcement, following positions as Legal Director within the Enforcement Deputyship. His professional experience also includes advisory and leadership roles at Bank Albilad and the Ministry of Commerce.

Mr. Abdullah holds an MBA from Al Yamamah University, a Master of Comparative Law (LL.M.) and a Bachelor of Islamic Law (Sharia) from Imam Mohammad Ibn Saud Islamic University, and a Diploma in International Finance from Washington State University. He brings extensive expertise in legal affairs, regulatory frameworks, financial governance, and public sector leadership.

Mr. Omar Al-Ghamdi – Member

Omar Alghamdi is an Associate Director at KPMG, working in Human Capability and Human Capital Development. He holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA), and his professional focus is managing multiple initiatives in the sector.

Over the past several years, Omar has worked with public sector entities on workforce and youth development initiatives, supporting the design and delivery of programs connected to education, training, and employability. His experience includes working closely with stakeholders, program beneficiaries, and policymakers to ensure that skills development initiatives are practical, relevant, and aligned with real market demand.

Through his advisory role, Omar brings a market-oriented perspective to academic and training discussions. As a member of the advisory committee, he contributes insights on graduate readiness, skills alignment, and the evolving expectations of employers, supporting universities in enhancing the relevance and impact of their academic outcomes.

Mr. Ali Alotabi – Member

Mr. Ali Alotaibi is a seasoned business and healthcare professional with extensive experience in management and operations. He currently serves as Vice President of Sales and Operations at Maharah Human Resources Company, a position he has held since 2022, after serving as Executive Director of the Corporate Sector at the same company from 2014 to 2022. His earlier experience includes roles in healthcare administration at leading institutions in Riyadh, such as Administrative Coordinator at the Cancer Centre of King Faisal Specialist Hospital & Research Centre, Head of Case Management and Acting Supervisor at King Fahad Medical City, and Case Management Assistant and Housing Supervisor at King Faisal Specialist Hospital & Research Centre.

He began his career as an Interpreter/Translator at King Khaled Eye Specialist Hospital. Mr. Alotaibi holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Al Imam Muhammad ibn Saud University and has completed a graduate English Language course at the Institute of Public Administration in Riyadh.

Mr. Nayef Al-Obailan -Member

Eng. Naif Abdulrahman Saleh Alobilan is the General Manager of Strategy and Partnerships at the Saudi Accreditation Center, a role he has held since September 2024. He also chairs the Communications and Marketing Committee at the Arab Accreditation Cooperation (ARAC) and the Communications and Media Committee at the Islamic Forum for Halal Accreditation Bodies (IFHAB), in addition to serving on several internal committees within the Center.

He earned his Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Technology from King Saud University in 2008 and pursued further programs in quality and engineering at Wright State University in the United States. Eng. Naif holds multiple professional certifications, including Project Management Professional (PMP), and is a certified practitioner in sustainability. His career includes roles as Business Development Consultant at Thiqah Business Services (2023–2024), Director of Strategy and Planning at TÜV Rhineland Arabia (2021–2023), various positions at the Saudi Food and Drug Authority (2009–2021), and Biomedical Engineer at King Fahd Medical City (2008–2009).

Mr. Ahmed Al-Otaibi – Dr. Mohammed Faqih Hospital – Member

Mr. Ahmed currently serves as Patient Service Director at Dr. Mohammed Al Fagih Hospital, a position he has held since February 2023. In this role, he leads patient-centered operational strategies and oversees the daily operations of outpatient, inpatient, and emergency departments while ensuring quality standards and regulatory compliance.

Earlier in his career, he served as Chief Operations Officer at Hayat National Hospital in Riyadh, where he led the pre-opening and operational readiness of a 270-bed hospital and oversaw organization-wide operational strategy. He also held the role of Operations Manager at Al-Osrah International Hospital and previously worked at Sultan Bin Abdulaziz Humanitarian City in several positions, including Assistant Outpatient Manager, Outpatient Supervisor, and Case Manager, contributing to operational improvements, patient experience initiatives, and service expansion.

Mr. Ahmed holds a Master’s degree in Project Management from Northumbria University in the United Kingdom, a Bachelor of Science in Health Services Administration from Indiana University South Bend in the United States, and an Associate Degree in Dental Technology from Academic Special Medical Training in Riyadh.

Mr. Mansour Al-Obaid– Member

Eng. Mansour bin Fahad Saleh Al-Obaid is a distinguished Saudi technology executive, serial entrepreneur, and board member with more than 20 years of leadership experience across digital transformation, advanced technologies, and large-scale ICT operations. He has founded, co-founded, or led over 20 technology ventures spanning AI, robotics, IoT, fintech, e-commerce, and digital transformation, significantly contributing to the Kingdom’s digital economy and Vision 2030 objectives. A pioneer in the early development of the internet in Saudi Arabia, he played a foundational role in national internet rollout and technology policy formulation. Eng. Mansour has held senior executive positions in leading technology groups, successfully delivering multi-billion-SAR revenues, mergers, and strategic exits. He led major national ICT infrastructure projects and managed large-scale workforces across the Kingdom. He serves and has served on multiple corporate, academic, and government boards, including roles in digital capability development and advisory policy. His expertise spans corporate governance, venture building, and ecosystem enablement. Eng. Mansour is also an active investor and mentor, supporting startups and emerging leaders in advanced and Industry 4.0 technologies.

Mr. Fahad Al-Fraidi – Member

Fahad Alfraidi is a highly accomplished Saudi strategic HR executive with extensive experience leading large-scale HR transformation, organizational design, and people strategy alignment across diverse industries. He currently serves as HR & Admin Director at Coca-Cola Saudi Arabia, overseeing HR and administrative operations for over 1,500 employees across 25 locations and reporting directly to the CEO. Known as a trusted advisor to boards and executive teams, Fahad has driven measurable business impact through innovative HR models, cultural transformation, and digital HR solutions. His career includes senior leadership roles at NADEC, Saudi Ground Services (28 airports), and major private-sector organizations, managing workforces exceeding 10,000 employees. He has led award-winning HR teams, achieving national recognition including Best HR Team in Saudi Arabia and Top CHRO nominations. Fahad has a strong track record in talent development, succession planning, Saudization, and performance management. He is globally certified (SPHRi, CPTD, SHRM-CP, CIPD Level 5) and a recognized trainer, speaker, and facilitator at leading HR forums. His work consistently strengthens organizational capability, engagement, and sustainable growth.
