Dr. Waleed M. Abanomi

Dr. Waleed Abanomi is the current Vice President of Al Yamamah University. He  is a proficient academic , researcher and an architectural consultant. Attained his Bachelor’s degree in Architecture & Building Science at King Saud University, Riyadh KSA, advanced his Master’s Degree in Architecture from the University of Arizona, USA, and obtained his Doctorate of Philosophy in Architecture from Cardiff University, United Kingdom.

Prior to his current post, Dr. Waleed formerly was the Dean of the College of Engineering and Architecture at Al Yamamah University, and still an Associate Professor in the College of Architecture and Planning with King Saud University. He was also a Consultant in different Governmental and Private Sectors.

Dr. Waleed had been awarded an Honor during his professional career, namely, “The Middle East Educational Leadership Award”, the Asian Confederation of Businesses, Dubai UAE, and the Distinguished Post Graduate Student Scholarship Award at University of Arizona thru his Master’s Degree Program.

Dr. Abanomi authored and co-authored several researches in well known Journals which had been circulated by the different Publishing Institution for more than a decade.
